Soul at Peace is a world schooling hub aspiring to manifest a collaborative praxis in the midst of experiencing sustainable peaceful and environmental friendly living. We offer families with primary school aged children a cultural emerison space to explore a “learn by doing” pedagogy and curriculum based on five thematic values: Problem-solving, Ecology, Adventure, Community, and Equality (“PEACE”).
2025 Soul at Peace World Schooling Hub
The 2025 Soul at Peace World Schooling Hub will be convened in a small rural seaside village in Turkey from September 20 - 28, 2025. Flight destination is to Bodrum, Turkey (Milas–Bodrum International Airport). Ground transportation from Bodrum to Soul at Peace is by shuttle taxi service (by referral) or car rental (by personal arrangement). The ground trip from the airport to Soul at Peace is approximately 1 hour.
The cost per family of four is £3,000 (additonal family members are invited at a pro rata cost), which includes lodging, all meals, and host facilitated learning engagement and recreation opportunities designed to explore the interdependence of critical thinking, creativity, biology, physical and emotional well being, literacy and maths, and conflict resolution through wholistic sustainable life competency skills. Instructive referral opportunities for sailing/boating excursions, and over night trips to Sairnce and Ephesus will also be available based on interest.
The retreat is an opportunity for families to reflect and to recreate or strengthen an existing life vision quest through living in mindfulness amidst the embrace of a peaceful community. Every experience from arrival through farewell embraces, is offered as an organic self-discovery opportunity toward realizing authentic self-being and peace through enlightenment.
The Hub Hosts are Borana and Lindsay who are parents to a 7 year old and 5 year old. They have been in engaged in Worldschooling with their children since 2020. They are multilingual and hold advanced graduate degrees, and have a wealth of experience in education including; research, curriculum and pedagogy design, instruction, and coaching. They currently are based out of a small seaside village in Scotland.
